How do I create a free account? ▼
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen and select "Sign Up Free." Enter your name, email address, and a password. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it? ▼
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. We will send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
How do I delete my account? ▼
Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
How do I save a favourite station? ▼
Tap any station from the list or map view to open its detail page. Tap the star icon to save it to your favourites. A free account is required to save favourites.
Is my data private and secure? ▼
Yes. Your data is stored securely via Firebase and is never sold or shared with third parties. You can request deletion of your account and all data at any time by emailing support@fuelsense.app.
How do I set up a price alert? ▼
Go to Profile → Notification Settings. From there you can set a price threshold (e.g. alert me when prices drop more than 3p) and choose which types of alerts you'd like to receive.
How does FuelSense predict fuel prices? ▼
FuelSense analyses historical fuel price data, regional trends, and wholesale market signals to forecast local prices up to 7 days ahead. Predictions are updated daily.
How accurate are the price predictions? ▼
Our predictions are typically accurate within 2–3p per litre. Sudden market events such as oil price shocks can reduce accuracy, so we always recommend checking live prices too.
Why is the price different at the pump? ▼
Fuel prices in FuelSense are sourced from third-party data providers and may not always reflect the exact current pump price. We recommend confirming the price when you arrive.
How often are prices updated? ▼
Price update frequency depends on the data available for each station. Each station card shows when the price was last updated.
Why are some stations showing no price? ▼
Some stations may not have price data available from our providers. You can still navigate to these stations using the directions button.
What is included in FuelSense Plus+? ▼
Plus+ includes unlimited favourites, full expense and trip tracking, tax-deductible fuel reports, price alerts, and priority support.
How do I cancel my Plus+ subscription? ▼
Go to Profile → Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund? ▼
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact support@fuelsense.app.
The app is not showing stations near me. ▼
Make sure location permissions are enabled. Go to Device Settings → Apps → FuelSense → Permissions → Location and set it to "While Using the App."
The app is running slowly or crashing. ▼
Try closing and reopening the app. Ensure you have the latest version installed from the App Store or Google Play. If the issue continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
My expense data is not saving. ▼
Expense tracking requires a free account. Check your internet connection. If the problem continues, contact our support team at support@fuelsense.app.
